Lavington CBD Strategy Consultation

Northside Chamber supported AlburyCity Council and Allen Jack + Cottier with their initial consultation regarding development of the Lavington CBD Masterplan.  This stage was completed in December 08 and the second round of community consultations took place on Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5th and Friday 6th February 2009. 

The community workshops with the project team of consultants were a great opportunity for people to have real input into the development of master plans for enhancing the entrances to the two CBD areas and reinforcing Albury and Lavington's role as a regional centre of choice.  Issues under consideration included access, streetscape, amenities, impact of buildings, public domain spaces, pedestrian activity, parking, heritage and signage.
