2010 NELLEN Environmental Scan

The North East Local Learning and Employment Network has completed its 2010 Environmental Scan.  The NELLEN has produced this environmental scan to provide information on the current factors affecting young people living, working and undertaking education in the Local Government Areas (LGA) of the City of Wodonga and the Shires of Alpine, Indigo and Towong.

Overall the scan is intended to provide a snapshot of information, data and general commentary on the local area, specifically in relation to access and participation for young people.  Included in the scan is information on industry, education and services in the North East, such as:

· Skill shortage areas

· Major industry in the region

· Educational institutions and

· General community profiles
